March 16th, 2008. Santa Fe. The Beit Tikva Purim Party Hamentaschen Winners judged yesterday, by Executive Chef Xavier Grenet, Ristra Restaurant and Bar and Nathalie Bonnard:

1st Prize: Soloman (Sulley) Shane, a Culinary Arts student at the Santa Fe Community College, for his "out-of-the-box" Hamentaschen ***** (recipe may follow.)
2nd Prize: Barbara Cohen (me) for my Hamentaschen with Apricot Orange Filling
3rd Prize: Eva Wohl for her Poppyseed Delight Hamentaschen

Most Original: Andre Cogbill for his Gigantic Hanukkah Hamentaschen
Most Unusual: Nurit Patt for her Hamentaschen with Fruit Filling
Most Traditional: Barbara Marco for her Hamentaschen with Prune, raisin and nut filling
